The Wig Bank of Caldwell County provides wigs and scarves for women and children who may lose their hair through cancer treatments. Each wig is specially selected and styled by one of our licensed stylists.
This program brings women together and helps them put their best foot forward with tips on applying makeup and other beauty techniques. A free bag of makeup is supplied to each participant. This class is led by our stylists on the fourth Monday of each month at 11:00 at the Wig Bank.
Children With Hair Loss
The Wig Bank partners with this national organization to help make wigs for cancer patients. Please follow these instructions for hair donations. An individual may donate their hair (must be at least 8 inches). The locks should be clean, dry, bound together (in a braid or ponytail), bagged, and delivered to the Wig Bank with your name and phone number taped to the outside of the bag. The Wig Bank is happy to send it off for you. If you would prefer to send it yourself, you can drop by to get a form with more instructions.
